Law and Disorder (originally called BabyBarista and the Art of War) is published by Bloomsbury and was described by broadcaster Jeremy Vine as “a wonderful, racing read – well-drawn, smartly plotted and laugh out loud” and by The Times as “a cross between The Talented Mr Ripley, Rumpole and Bridget Jones’s Diary”. It is based is based on the BabyBarista Blog which previously appeared on The Times for three years and is now with The Guardian and which was described by The Lawyer as “genius”. The sequel Law and Peace (Bloomsbury, 2011) can be ordered at amazon.

Law and Peace (Bloomsbury, 2011) is the second novel in The BabyBarista Files. The Daily Mail described it as “highly recommended” and a “funny, sharp account of backstabbing Bar life” and broadcaster Jeremy Vine called it “a novel bursting with invention” It can be ordered at amazon.

Why Lawyers Should Surf (co-authored with Dr Michelle Tempest) was described by The Times Online as “a song for the modern age which could well become a cult classic” and The Independent said that it “give[s] you the mental equivalent of a perfect day at Sunset Beach”.
