Year 3, week 29: credit crunch

“You know UpTights, every time I hear mention of toxic debts, depression and sub-prime, for some bizarre reason it makes me think of you.” It was OldSmoothie in the clerks room this morning.
“Well you’ve certainly experienced your own form of quantitative easing in the last year or two yourself OldSmoothie,” said BusyBody standing up for UpTights once again.
Then UpTights came forward with the killer blow: “And from what I hear on the grapevine about your bouts of deflation, an expansionary stimulus package might not go amiss either.”
