Official: "irregular voting" in the States!

I have just had forwarded to me an email from the ABA which was addressed to a law student who had contacted them voicing his concerns about the voting in the recent Blawg election. The reply to him came from Molly McDonough, the assistant managing editor and said, among other things: "We’re in the process now of vetting the votes for each blog. As you suspect, there was some irregular voting. Those votes are being stripped. The new numbers and vote counts will be announced this week." Let me make it clear that I don’t in any way suggest that any of the Blawgs themselves were involved. But whoever would have predicted "irregular voting" in an American election? Golly. Now there’s a thing.
