Year 2, week 18: FreudianSlip

Today ClichéClanger issued the claim on behalf of BlowDry against Souffle for libel for having called him heterosexual. As planned, ScandalMonger and BlowDry were there with him on the steps of the High Court as he held aloft the court papers for the benefit of the two photographers who ScandalMonger had tipped off.  Barristers are pretty much banned from speaking to the press when the case is ongoing and so I simply hung around in the background watching the whole façade unfold.  ClichéClanger got a little carried away with all the attention:
“We will wield aloft the mighty sword of Damacles and justice will be ours.”

Hmm.  Right on.  A Freudian slip if ever there was one.

Love the blog, BabyB. I’ve been following it since the very beginning, which says a great deal for the readability. Personally I’m rooting for TheVamp. Just wanted to ask if you could put a link to my new story in your links please? I’m also a junior barrister, but writing about life, rather than law! Cheers!
