Day 230, week 46: hot air

If you walk down any of the alleyways and lanes backing onto the barristers’ chambers of the Inns of Court at the moment you’ll see plenty of small air conditioning units poking their nozzles out of the window.  I know it’s childish but I can’t help chuckling at the fact that what they’re pumping out is…

…hot air.

    lazy today, are we?
or are you setting the tone for your last post (once you’ve been offered a tenancy of course) saying thatit all sucks and that you are off to africa to save the world?

Funnily enough, the subject of this post is being echoed on surfacestations.org, where it is gradually being realised that even rural weather stations in the US are running air-conditioning next to their recording equipment. The global warming figures seem instead to have measured the uptake of air-con round the world!

Air-con does seem to be a bit of an environmental con!
